Privacy Policy
Effective as of 2026-10-06
This privacy policy applies to the SvitloUA (СвітлоUA) app for mobile devices (package com.icompany.svitloua), together with any related services operated by Alex Hrindii (collectively, the "Application"). Alex Hrindii is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
The Application shows hourly power outage schedules published by regional electricity operators in Ukraine. You add one or more addresses, choose a region and an outage group for each, and the Application displays the schedule for today and tomorrow, the current state, home-screen widgets and optional notifications. The Application does not require an account, a login, or your real postal address.
Information stored on your deviceThe following information is entered by you and stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to the Service Provider:
- The addresses you add — a label you choose (for example "Home" or "Parents"), a region and an outage group
- Your notification preferences (whether reminders are enabled and how many minutes in advance)
- Which address each home-screen widget is bound to
- A cached copy of the last downloaded schedules, so the Application works offline
- Your language preference
Uninstalling the Application deletes all of this information from your device.
Information Collection and UseThe Application collects information automatically when you download and use it, through the third-party SDKs listed below. This information may include
- Your device's Internet Protocol address
- The screens of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those screens
- The time spent on the Application and the actions you take in it (for example adding an address or pinning a widget)
- Your mobile operating system, device model, app version and language
- Crash reports and diagnostic data if the Application stops working
- An advertising identifier used to show ads
The Service Provider does not collect your precise location. The region and outage group you select are used only to download the matching schedule and are not sent to the Service Provider's own servers; they may be visible to the data source as part of the requested file path (see "Where the schedules come from").
Where the schedules come fromThe outage schedules are taken from open publications of the regional electricity operators. The Application downloads them from public repositories hosted on GitHub (api.github.com and raw.githubusercontent.com). When the Application fetches a schedule, GitHub receives your IP address and the usual technical details of an HTTPS request, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. The Service Provider is not affiliated with any electricity operator.
Reminders before the power goes off or comes back and alerts about a new schedule are scheduled locally on your device. The Application does not use push notification tokens, and no notification content leaves your device. You can switch notifications off in the Application or in the system settings at any time.
AdvertisingThe Application shows ads delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising identifier and the information listed above to serve and measure ads. You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalised ads in the Android settings of your device ("Ads" under Google settings).
Cookies and tracking technologiesThe Application or its third-party SDKs may use SDKs, identifiers and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, crash reporting or advertising. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Your RightsYou may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at possible1770@gmail.com.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider may use the information you provide to send important information, required notices, and, where permitted by law, marketing communications.
Third Party AccessOnly aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
International Data TransfersThe Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.

Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at possible1770@gmail.com.
